Mystery City Games are a mix between a scavenger hunt, detective game, and a pub crawl.

Visit three bars in Amsterdam’s Red Light District, solve a series of puzzles, and piece your way to the answer in this true-crime detective adventure. Here is the perfect activity to keep you warm and dry on your next trip to Amsterdam.

At the start of the experience, you will go to the first pub and pick up a game booklet with the instructions and your first challenge. Then the game will guide you through the city to visit a total of 3 different pubs, where you will find hidden materials along the way. At each brewery, you will also have a drink token that can be exchanged for a regular beer, a soft drink, a coffee or a tea.

Please note that you will need a phone with data to communicate with your police captain along the way (no download necessary).

– Visit 3 bars and complete a series of challenges to solve the case
– In between each bar, you will explore the neighborhood, finding details in Amsterdam’s architecture and hidden corners
– Follow a true story from the city’s history as you race against the clock or compete with your friends, family, or colleagues
– You will need a phone with internet

The game starts at Bierfabriek, just off of Rokin. Along the way, you will visit three different breweries, ending at de Prael, just near Central Station. 

Most of the game takes place indoors, making this the perfect activity for a cold, rainy day!

The price includes a 3 hour adventure through Amsterdam’s Red Light District. Along the route, you will visit three local breweries. At each brewery, you will have a token that can be exchanged for a small beer, a soft drink or a coffee or tea.

The drink tokens are valid for soda and coffee and tea as well as beer. So no worries! You can still enjoy a drink while solving the puzzles.

In this city game, you will take on the role of a grizzly detective, with a gun by your side and whiskey on your breath. A body has turned up on the streets, and you are needed to help solve the case.

There is nothing explicit in this game, but due to the themes, it is not suitable for children.
